Empire Recruitment is hiring experienced Artic Truck Drivers for our client, a leading manufacturer of precast concrete and modular homes. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company and contribute to the transportation of high-quality prefabricated structures.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Artic trucks to transport precast concrete and modular home components
  • Ensure timely and efficient deliveries to construction sites and storage facilities
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
  • Assist with loading and unloading as needed
  • Report any transport or vehicle-related issues to supervisors
  • Requirements

  • Valid CE Licence with up-to-date CPC and Tachograph Card
  • Previous experience in construction material transportation is preferred
  • Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations
  • Ability to work independently and meet delivery schedules
  • A reliable and safety-conscious approach to driving
  • Package

    €17 - €18 per hour depending on experience

    • Responsible for liaising with contractors in the Republic and Northern Ireland during the sales process and at other stages of the process as required.

    Responsible for maintenance and repairs of all HGV fleet and trailers

    • Carry out repairs on engines, gear box’s, hydraulics and braking systems

    • To attend breakdowns as required

    • Complete weekly and monthly check sheets

    • To carry out regular preventative maintenance

    • To carry out and maintain servicing schedule

    • To undertake all work in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety Statement, Policies and Procedures.
