Our Client

Empire Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Van Sales Representative based in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional looking to build a career within the FMCG sector.

As a Van Sales Representative, you will be the face of the business, building strong relationships with retail customers while driving sales and merchandising across an established territory. You will be responsible for developing existing accounts, introducing new products, maximising promotional opportunities and ensuring excellent in-store execution.

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop sales within an assigned geographical territory.
Introduce new product launches and range extensions.
Build strong relationships with store managers and retail teams.
Promote and sell seasonal and promotional activity.
Capture orders using handheld technology.
Manage stock rotation and merchandising to a high standard.
Implement planograms and promotional displays.
Monitor competitor activity and complete store audits.
Work collaboratively with the wider sales team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

A full Category B driving licence.
Previous sales, merchandising or FMCG experience (van sales experience is an advantage but not essential).
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
A proven ability to build strong customer relationships.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with a passion for achieving sales targets.
Knowledge of the local retail market would be beneficial.

Please note: Applicants must be 25 years of age or older to meet the company's motor insurance requirements.

Package

Salary €30,000 - €35,000 OTE
Lunch Allowance €12.00 per day
€500 Perx Christmas voucher (tax-free small benefit) for employees who work one Saturday or Sunday during Christmas week
