The successful candidate will work alongside a Delivery and Installation Assistant, ensuring efficient and professional service to both commercial and residential premises.

The position is based in South Dublin and shifts are typically between 06:00 - 15:00.

• Furniture Delivery: Deliver a wide range of furniture items to various locations across the country, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
• Furniture Assembly: Assemble furniture on-site as required, ensuring all items are set up correctly and securely.
• Multidrop Deliveries: Perform high volume, multidrop deliveries efficiently, maintaining a tight schedule and adhering to delivery windows.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns customers may have during the delivery and assembly process.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working order, reporting any issues promptly.
• Documentation: Complete all necessary delivery documentation accurately, ensuring all records are up to date.

• Valid C Licence: Must hold a valid C licence for rigid vehicles.
• Valid CPCs & Digital Tachograph: Must hold all relevant driver compliance cards.
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar delivery and assembly role is highly desirable.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to handle and assemble heavy furniture items.
• Customer Service Skills: Effective communication and customer service skills are essential.

Job Description:

As a Professional CE Licence Artic Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across Ireland, the UK, and the continent. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate articulated vehicles in compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
• Safely load, transport, and unload goods according to delivery schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
• Adhere to driving hours regulations and maintain accurate records of working hours and rest periods.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues to coordinate deliveries.
• Demonstrate proficiency in navigating routes and adapting to changing road and weather conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the truck cabin and cargo area.

• Valid CE (Class 1) driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Professional Driver Certificate of Competence (CPC).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an articulated truck driver.
• Familiarity with tachograph regulations and digital tachograph operation.

Subs:

Night out allowance of €71.29 or Meal allowance €33.61 per day - Over a 5-day week this will add between €168.05 - €356.45 per week in tax free income.

This is a 24/7 operation and weekend work will be required, which is paid at premium rates.
