Our Client are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in the renewable energy sector. This role is critical to the successful financial and contractual management of our projects, with direct responsibility for tendering, pricing strategies, cost control, & P&L accountability.
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and lead the tendering process, including preparation of bills of quantities, pricing documents, and commercial submissions.
Oversee cost planning, budgeting, and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead and manage contract negotiations, variations, claims, and dispute resolution with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure strict P&L management, reporting, and forecasting for assigned projects, maintaining strong cost control and financial performance.
Develop and implement commercial strategies that align with company objectives and market conditions.
Prepare and present detailed cost reports, cash flows, and financial risk assessments to senior management.
Liaise closely with the project delivery team to ensure commercial and contractual alignment.
Requirements
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline.
Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
Strong understanding of contract forms and commercial risk management.
Proven track record in tendering, pricing, and full P&L accountability.
High proficiency in cost management software, Excel, and reporting tools.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Package
€60,000-€84,000+ depending on experience + benefits package
