Our client in the fire protection industry is looking for an experienced Contracts Sales Executive to manage and secure contracts for their fire protection systems and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business and ensuring the successful negotiation, management, and delivery of contracts within a range of sectors. This role requires a sales professional with excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and a proven ability to secure high-value contracts.
Roles & Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, particularly in sectors such as construction, commercial real estate, and industrial projects.
Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring that terms and conditions align with company objectives and legal standards.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters.
Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the sales process from lead generation through to contract signing, ensuring a smooth transition to the project management team.
Proposal Preparation: Prepare detailed and tailored proposals, including pricing, project timelines, and service specifications.
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and understand industry trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline development, and contract performance, ensuring transparency and alignment with company targets.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including technical and project management, to ensure contract terms are deliverable and meet client expectations.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in a contracts sales role, preferably within the fire protection or security industry.
Strong knowledge of contract law and an ability to manage complex negotiations.
Demonstrated experience in securing high-value contracts.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to influence and build trust with clients.
Proficient in preparing proposals and presenting solutions to senior decision-makers.
Strong organisational and project management skills, with an eye for detail.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
