Accounting Technician

• The position reports to the Finance Manager
• Assisting the Finance Manager and the accounts team in the day to day accounting function
• Being responsible for processing and allocating invoices to accounting system
• Assisting the team in processing supplier invoices for Accounts Payable
• Assisting with Banking, client bank reconciliations, petty cash
• Ensuring certain key critical systems are reconciled and balances available
• Monitoring financial transactions
• Review of accounts payable payment runs
• Submission of all BACS and DD files for the finance department
• Preparing accounts, reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements
• Calculating end of year accounts
• Ensuring compliance with taxation legislation
• Monitoring company/department financial transactions and controlling budgets
• Preparing accounts, budgets, reports and financial statements
